Open MRI Our Helix Orthopedic office is please to announce that we now provide MRI services on-site! This is a truly OPEN MRI for improved comfort featuring the latest in MRI technology. This system uses radio waves and magnetic fields to generate extremely detailed images of your body beyond standard xrays. With this system, we can see for example, bulging discs, fractures, ligament tears and cartilage problems. Your physician can schedule such tests in the office - sometimes during the same appointment visit - no more waiting days or weeks for your MRI !
